"We had the most amazing girls trip at this cabin! It was very clean, spacious, and fun! There was plenty of room for our group of 16, and lots of fun activities at the house playing pool and enjoying the hot tub and backyard! The location is great, your nestled away, but still close to all the fun South Lake has to offer! Liezel is great to work with, and is always available to answer any questions! We will definitely be back!"

"I am sooo glad that we picked this heather chalet, Lake Tahoe as the venue of our first family reunion (after 7 years !) ... Everything was just perfect! It was " home away from home"! The place was spacious for any type of family activity, not to mention that initial supplies from coffee to laundry needs are available ...dining & cooking needs & supplies were simply great! And we even had a bonus! ... it was equipped with a high chair which my granddaughter enjoyed using!!! My family really loves this place... We highly recommend this to families who plan to visit Lake Tahoe. We salute the owner & property manager for keeping this place sooo fabulous! We will take this place anytime than any 5-star hotel."

"This home is absolutely amazing. The kitchen was beautiful and everything we needed was at our figure tips. The area is perfect for a hike or trail run. Great for a large group of friends or family who are looking to stay in the Tahoe area. It's not too far from the lake or casinos (driving is required though). The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. My friends already want to go back. We'll definitely use Apex again!!! Thank you Apex Getaway for accommodating us!!"

"This Tahoe House is Awesome. With 6 bedrooms which comes with either a king size, 2 queen beds, 2 double beds and 6 beautiful bathrooms will definitely accommodate a big family like mine. The location was perfect close to grocery stores, the casino and beaches and lakes. The open airy feeling felt great in the back of the house and also private because there weren't any neighbors around in the back of the house. The house was equipped with everything from towels to garbage bags and clean and very cozy. The indoor pool was the best part of the house for the kids as well as the pool table. The kitchen was the best part of the house for the adults. It had a lot of counter space and was bright and open during the day with the nice windows surrounding the kitchen. This was an awesome experience for our family and we'll definitely be back. Customer service was also definitely great working with Liezel. Thanks!" |

"My family and I had an amazing weekend at the Jicarilla cabin. Everything worked perfect and the pool was such a plus! The reservation process was quick and easy. Liezel was extremely responsive and receptive throughout the whole process which made me feel very confident. She even provided some great recommendations for restaurants and activities to consider around the area. We took her advice on paddleboarding and a Thai restaurant, and couldn't have been happier with it. My family and I are now committed to making an annual Tahoe trip every spring and hope to make it with Apex. "

"We just stayed in one of the luxury house with 6 bed rooms and 6 bath rooms in South Lake Tahoe during the memorial day weekend. We really enjoyed the house with cooking, baking and movie theater. The house was beautiful in a national forest, the indoor pool is small but good enough for the kids playing several hours. We like the hot tub and the steam room. The service was excellent; we came there around 3.30 pm Saturday, used the wrong code and could not get in the house, then we called the service and got the correct code right away to open the entry door. Sure, we will rent the house again for the winter holiday." |

"We stayed in one of the luxury homes in August 2012 and our experience was wonderful! the house is beautiful -EXACTLY as it looks on line, and Liezel was so nice! As often as I bugged her she was always friendly and available to answer all of my questions. We stayed in the Toppewetah home - loved it, only thing I would say is the back yard could use some landscaping - too many sticks and too rocky for the kids to play out back other than that it was beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with very nice quality utensils, dishes and cookware, and even when we arrived a little earlier than expected Liezel was so nice to give us access early so my daughter could use the restroom . We also got our deposit back on time . I highly recommend them and look forward to renting from them again."

"We just got back from spending 1 week at Turnback Trail. Our experience was great. I guess we got lucky with a new cleaning crew. Family members have also rented other homes...and they have no complaints. I was actually very impressed with how clean the house was. Not even a crumb in the toaster. I did the "under the couch cushion" check and it was clean. Our 2 dogs came along with us, they went under the bed and didn't come out dusty...so, i guess it was clean under there too. The master bed was very comfortable. I loved the hardwood floors upstairs! It was nice that we could leave the windows opened all day and night and it didnt feel creepy.

Two TV remotes were missing from the downstairs bedroom. I emailed them and they had Lupe (housekeeper) come over and the problem was taken care of. Lupe was very pleasant! Downstairs carpet needs deep cleaning in the future due to wear and tear. The railing on the deck does need to be repaired. Couple of the pool cues are missing the tips. But, that's replaceable. I did put a bar stool in the garage cause it was glued and really wobbly. These are just the little wear and tear things around the house.

"This lodge was perfect for a reunion with friends. It had plenty of room to accommodate all 11 of us, with plenty of great spaces to catchup, watch movies, play board games, play billiards, etc. The listing description and photos match the actual property and was very clean and well-maintained. The furnishings were nice and modern and the amenities were great! We used the hot tub, sauna, and the kitchen was big enough to handle multiple cooks whipping up meals. It was so much fun, we are planning another trip this year. My only complaint was that when we arrived, the master bedroom fireplace was not functioning. We called the property manager and in the end I was able to fix it that night (engineer), but they did send someone the following day. Also the BBQ grill was out of propane, but we bought a tank and the property owner reimbursed us for the expense. All in all I was impressed with the prompt service and look forward to another gathering soon."

"Our weekend in Tahoe was just AWESOME!!! Your Toppewetah cabin was absolutely PERFECT for our family!! I can't tell you how much we enjoyed staying there and want you to know how much we appreciate your help in making all of the arrangements for us!!! Everyone had a blast!!! "Once again we had a fabulous stay at Heather Chalet. The house is beautiful and accommodates a large group. We love coming back every year to relax and enjoy the Tahoe scenery, skiing and of course our staple, sledding! The ownership is fabulous and always takes care of us every year.
